A small independent agency quotes a customer by typing the same driver, vehicle, property and prior-carrier details into several carrier portals. It does the same thing again for most endorsements. Comparative raters cover part of this, but not every carrier or every transaction. Many agencies fill the gap with staff hours or a virtual assistant.
We're testing an idea: software that works inside the carrier portals your agency already uses, on your own logins, with nothing shared with us beyond what each run needs. It would enter the customer's data once, collect the quotes, and write the results back into your agency management system for a person to review. People still make the decisions. The software only does the typing.
Before we build anything, we want to learn what this work costs agencies today, which carriers and transactions take the most time, and what carrier agreements allow. If you run or manage an agency and would talk to us for ten minutes, we'd be grateful. A "this isn't a problem for us" is just as useful.
